At the Closing of a Year

2013

This year has been full of moments that will change me forever. I will never forget 2013 and the impact it has made in my life.

We started out the year with the news of a new little Oliver coming into the mix. I was sure it was a boy due to the fact my pregnancy was so different then the other 4. Daniel was not so sure and figured that with stats it would be another girl. On     we had a baby reveal....

Daniel was right and so Nolanee Danielle Oliver was going to be our fifth little girl!!!

In May my dear mothers condition took a turn for the worse. Her dementia had taken the best of her and it was difficult for my father to continue caring for her. We had no choice but to put her in a home where she would have better care. On May 17th with my father and I near her my mother took her last breath. There are no words to describe the impact that has had in my life. This terrible disease took my best friend away and I will learn now how to live half alive for I can never be complete with out her.

In July we were surprised by Nolanee who came 5 weeks early. We were woken up on July 20th at 4 in the morning by someone in our neighborhood shooting fireworks. I quickly realized she wasn't moving. We went to the hospital and figured it was a false alarm. They notice on the monitor her heartbeat would drop and come back up. The ultrasound tech found out I had very low amniotic fluid and it was decided I would have to go in to labor. I choose to have her all natural and was induced at 10:30 dealing with contractions for the first time was no fun.

In August Novalee Started third grade and Natalee started Kindergarten, its incredible how fast time flies.

Natalee played soccer for Spanish Fork for the first time, it was great starting my girls in sports.

In November my little Novalee was baptized. I cant believe how fast 8 years have gone by. I was so proud of her for making the choice to be baptized. She is such an amazing girl and I love her so much.

Novalee started basketball in the winter and will have her first game in January.

I am learning to embrace all the changes and look forward to the beginning of a new chapter in my life.

All About THE GIRLS!

Novalee is comes up with the funniest stuff. Yesterday I was checking up on her in the bathroom and she told me "mommy im in here for a big reason" I simply left it at that and laughed as I got natalee ready for bath time.
Novalee is learning to write her name. She is getting better each day. Its hard trying to schedule time in for this but I know its important.

Bath time is THE GIRLS' favorite time. Novalee watches out for the girls. Natalee rinces off Nayalee and gets her weashcloth and puts it on her head. Then rinses her and repeats. Its always entertaining.

Natalee came up to me today and in her natalee language told she was looking for something. I thought it ws her binky. She looked at her foot then picked up her shoe handed it to me. She sat down and put her little foot up so I caould put her shoe on. It was the cutest thing.
Natalee is also growing up fast. I usually give her a bottle at night, last night she kept pushing my hand away and wanted to do it all my herself. Its so hard when they do thing on there own. They grow up too fast.
Natalee loves to stack. She got a hold of her sisters playfug containters and started staking them one on one. I need to find the legos. Maybe she'll be the architect in the family. She already loves technology.

Nayalee is going to be teething soon. She loves to much on her chew toys like crazy. she loves her bouncer and soends alot of time there. We are still getting use to formula, she still likes my milk better. She is cooing up a storm and is holding on to her bottle. She recongnizes her sisters and is starting to smile at them and touch them.
Nayalee found her ear on sunday it was really funny she just kept playing with it. She loves her bouncer. She makes it moves by kicking her left foot a this certain tempo. She is growing up so fast.

I can't believe how fast time rolls by.
